Youth Care Worker (Second Shift 1pm-11pm)

The role involves providing daily support, structure, and guidance to youth in a residential setting, utilizing trauma-Informed care and tci techniques to foster growth and teach life skills. Key duties include engaging youth in therapeutic routines, building positive relationships, ensuring safety through de-Escalation, and documenting interactions.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid illinois driver's license with insurance, and meet dcfs/Cants clearance requirements, along with holding a high school diploma or ged. Essential abilities include remaining calm under stress, enjoying active engagement with youth, and successfully completing and maintaining certification in the care practice model and tci curriculum.
