Youth Counselor - 3rd Shift

The youth care worker implements daily therapeutic programming for youth, engaging them in skill-Building activities and documenting interactions according to established plans and models. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, positive, therapeutic environment by employing training in the care practice model and therapeutic crisis intervention (Tci).

Candidates must be able to learn and implement the care practice model and successfully pass, maintain certification in, and apply the tci curriculum, including crisis de-Escalation techniques. A high school diploma or ged is required, though a bachelor's degree in human services is preferred, along with possessing and retaining a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
