Core responsibilities
The facilitator is responsible for administering the 13-Week snap curriculum to parent or child groups, focusing on helping children ages 6-11 manage impulse and emotional control issues through cognitive-Behavioral strategies. This includes conducting required training, participating in intake/Assessment, leading weekly sessions, and completing all necessary documentation and follow-Up with families.
Requirements summary
Required qualifications include a high school diploma coupled with 10 or more years of experience in engaging, teaching, and training within the child welfare field, specifically working with at-Risk children and families. Preferred experience includes settings like cins/Fins, non-Residential, and residential/Shelter environments.
