Teaching Assistant Certified EDU School

This role involves providing instructional support and intensive behavioral assistance to students diagnosed with developmental disabilities, including autism, under the general supervision of a certified teacher. Candidates must possess a new york state teacher assistant certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in special education or a related field is preferred for some roles. Essential qualifications include experience with autism and developmental disabilities, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the physical ability to lift 50 lbs independently.
