Special Ed Teacher- Preschool

The role involves providing and supervising comprehensive educational services and interventions for preschool children in a special education setting, requiring adaptation of lesson plans and direct instruction delivery. Key duties include managing the classroom environment, training support staff in data collection, writing progress notes, and developing individualized education plans (Ieps) collaboratively.

A master's degree in special education or education with nys teaching certification is preferred, though a bachelor's degree with initial certification may be considered, with potential tuition assistance available. Candidates should possess knowledge of autism and other developmental disabilities, proficiency with standard computer software, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
