Behavioral Health Specialist - HCBS - Westchester/Rockland County

The behavioral health specialist provides services to enrolled children and families based on qualifications, which may include prevocational services, respite, supported employment, caregiver/Family advocacy, and community habilitation. Responsibilities also involve documenting all necessary information for billing, participating in treatment team meetings, and reporting incidents.

Educational requirements vary by service provided, ranging from a high school diploma with experience for respite/Community habilitation up to a ba/Bs with 1 year experience for prevocational/Supported employment, or an ma with 1 year experience for advocacy services. Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks, use computers, and communicate fluently in english.
