Childcare teacher assistant (Toddler room)

The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting in the education, supervision, and care of toddlers, including curriculum planning and family engagement within the ymca early learning center program. Essential functions involve implementing curriculum, supervising activities, conducting child observations, maintaining records, and ensuring program areas adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet specific educational and experience criteria, such as a high school diploma plus 2 years of experience, or a diploma plus 15 college credit hours in a relevant field and 1 year of experience. All prospective employees must also submit several mandatory clearances, including fbi, child abuse history, and state police clearances.
