Childcare teacher assistant- Infants

The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting in the education, supervision, and care of infants, including curriculum planning and family engagement within the ymca early learning center program. Essential functions include implementing curriculum, supervising children and classroom activities, conducting child observations, maintaining records, and adhering to program standards and policies.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and meet specific educational and experience criteria, such as a high school diploma plus 2 years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 15 college credit hours in a relevant field and 1 year of experience. All prospective employees must also submit several mandatory state clearances, including fbi, child abuse history, and state police clearances, prior to hire.
