Before & after school teacher (School age)

The teacher is responsible for assisting in the education, supervision, and care of school-Aged children, including curriculum planning and family engagement within the ymca before and after school child care program. Essential functions involve implementing curriculum, supervising all activities, conducting child observations, maintaining records, and ensuring program area cleanliness and safety.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess either a high school diploma with two years of experience, or a high school diploma plus 15 college credit hours in relevant fields and one year of experience with children. Required certifications include cpr/Pediatric first aid/Aed within 60 days, and all state-Mandated clearances must be submitted prior to hire.
