Childcare teacher assistant (Full-Time)

The assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting in the education, supervision, and care of children, including curriculum planning and family engagement within the ymca early learning center program. Essential functions involve implementing curriculum, supervising activities, conducting child observations, maintaining records, and ensuring program areas are clean and safe.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, coupled with either 2 years of experience or 1 year of experience plus 15 college credit hours in relevant fields like early childhood education. Mandatory clearances include fbi, pa child abuse history, pa state police, nsor certificate, health assessment with tb screening, and verification of 2,500 hours working with children.
