The special education teacher will be responsible for assessing students' educational needs, adapting general lessons, and developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps) for each student. This includes planning specific activities, teaching in various settings, tracking progress, and updating ieps throughout the school year.

Candidates must possess a special education certification and a bachelor's degree in special education or a similar field, along with an ivp fingerprint clearance. The role requires the ability to mentor students, communicate progress to stakeholders, and prepare students for grade transitions and life outside of school.
