Special Education Teacher #ESC4912

The special education teacher will be responsible for teaching in a life skills classroom, managing student behavior using de-Escalation strategies, and developing instructionally appropriate individualized education programs (Ieps). This role also requires implementing data collection practices and communicating effectively with parents and administration.

Candidates must hold a 461 endorsement and be licensed according to tennessee department of education regulations, possessing a bachelor's or master's degree. Required experience includes teaching in a cdc (Life skills) classroom, managing student behavior, and developing instructionally appropriate ieps.
