Camp Counselor, Y BTV Summer Camp

The camp counselor will lead and participate in all camp activities, including swimming, while assisting in planning and supervising daily programs to ensure a safe and engaging environment for children aged 5 to 10. Key duties involve maintaining constant supervision, tracking attendance, leading off-Site field trips, and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere by demonstrating leadership and ymca core values.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess experience working with children aged 5 to 10, along with strong communication and teamwork skills. While cpr/First aid certification is required or must be obtained, previous experience in a camp or recreational setting is preferred.
