Core responsibilities
The pre-School teacher upk is responsible for the development, implementation, facilitation, monitoring, and evaluation of a comprehensive early childhood partnership program for the children in the classrooms. This role involves planning and implementing curriculum with the team, supporting staff development, and ensuring the classroom environment meets health and safety standards.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and hold an active nys teacher certification to be eligible for the licensed teacher supplement. A minimum of one year of experience working with children aged 3 to 5 years old is required, along with meeting all nys/Ocfs regulations and health standards, including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
