Head Start Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for implementing a child-Centered curriculum for 3–5 year olds, encouraging positive social interaction, active engagement, and development across all domains. This role also involves addressing challenging behaviors through observation and intervention, partnering with families, and ensuring the safety and consistency of the classroom routine.

Candidates must possess an associate or bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, or equivalent coursework, meeting head start act requirements. The position mandates passing a physical exam and background checks, along with possessing a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with up to 10% travel required.
