Core responsibilities
The learning specialist will partner with lead teachers to support the optimal learning environment, co-Plan lessons, and provide push-In and pull-Out special education services as mandated by student ieps. Essential duties also include writing iep goals and reports, attending iep meetings, and leading small group instruction using research-Based interventions.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a special education license and experience analyzing student needs, designing learning experiences, and implementing accommodations. Preferred qualifications include a reading license and experience working in an urban environment, with bilingual skills in spanish or haitian creole being a plus.
