Core responsibilities
The behavior technician will implement behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, reporting to the board-Certified behavior analyst or board-Certified assistant behavior analyst. This role also involves the ability to model intervention techniques for trainees and the patients' family members.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and must be certified by the behavior analyst certification board as a registered behavior technician, currently enrolled in training, or commit to obtaining certification at the center. Preferred qualifications include experience in childcare, special needs work, or mental health-Related education, and basic life support is required within six months of the start date.
