Head Start Teacher (1427)

The teacher fosters positive relationships with children and parents, creates and implements daily and individualized classroom lesson plans according to curriculum, and ensures a healthy and safe physical environment. This role involves conducting regular safety checks, completing required documentation like attendance and observations, and conducting parent/Teacher conferences and home visits.

A minimum of an associate of arts degree in early childhood education or a related field is required, along with an educational plan to complete a ba degree in cde/Ece. Candidates must possess a valid california associate teacher permit or higher, current first aid, cpr certifications, and must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
