Core responsibilities
The instructor will provide academic instruction following the approved curriculum, developing and preparing lesson plans, administering tests, and modifying instructional resources to meet diverse student needs. Key duties also involve motivating and counseling students on behavior and study habits, modeling appropriate behaviors, and coordinating with other staff to resolve training issues.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and active new york state teacher certification, although waivers may be available for those with other state credentials in process. Applicants are also required to have a valid new york state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
