Job description

  • Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Athletics is searching for multiple Non-CMU Student Part-Time Casual Lifeguards.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.
  • This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position.
  • Priority consideration and preference will be given for individuals that have familiarity with the Carnegie Mellon community and university facilities.
  • Core responsibilities include: Ensure the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies Exhibit knowledge and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques Understand facilities policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Adaptability, excellence, and passion are vital qualities within Carnegie Mellon University.
