McMillan Middle School - Youth Leader (Teen)

Youth leaders are responsible for implementing curriculum and nurturing participants through purposeful programming focused on building achievement and belonging based on positive youth development best practices. This includes supervising children and activities, making ongoing observations, cultivating positive relationships with participants and parents, and maintaining a clean and safe program site.

Candidates must be at least 17 years old and preferred experience working with school-Age children in a developmental setting. Required qualifications include completing mandatory training such as child abuse prevention, cpr/Aed/First aid, and demonstrating the ability to relate effectively to diverse community segments while passing a background check.
