Primary Therapist

As a primary therapist, you will conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team. You will also complete clinical paperwork and attend treatment team meetings to coordinate patient care.

A master's or doctorate degree in counseling or a related field is required, along with state licensure as an associate or intern for primary therapist i. For higher levels, a full clinical mental health license and significant experience in treating patients with common diagnoses are necessary.
