DCS Direct Care Specialist- Dayshift

The direct care specialist will provide assistance in nursing and therapeutic care, as well as recreational and personal activities for disabled pediatric patients from birth to 21 years old during the dayshift. Responsibilities include direct patient care such as hygiene and daily living assistance, maintaining patient living areas, and assisting nurses with medical treatments and documentation.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous hospital, recreational, or therapeutic experience is preferred. Candidates must be dependable, empathetic, able to work with children, possess excellent customer service skills, and be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds, while also holding a valid driver's license.
