Temporary Part Time Direct Care Specialist - Evening Shift

The direct care specialist will provide and assist in nursing and therapeutic care, recreational, and personal activities for disabled pediatric patients, including hygiene assistance, meal support, and accompanying them to appointments and outings. Responsibilities also involve maintaining patient living areas, following care and behavioral plans, assisting nurses with medical treatments, and completing electronic health record documentation.

Candidates must be available for a required two-Week, full-Time orientation and possess a high school diploma or equivalent; previous hospital, recreational, or therapeutic experience is preferred. Essential physical requirements include prolonged standing/Walking and the ability to lift, push, or pull 30 pounds, along with possessing a valid driver's license.
