Core responsibilities
The behavior technician/Rbt will deliver direct client care, including clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on aba principles, working in 1:1 and group settings. Key duties involve following individualized treatment plans, collecting and summarizing observable client behavior data, and communicating progress to parents/Caregivers as directed by the bcba.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess or be willing to obtain registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification within 30-45 days and have a minimum of one year of experience as an rbt in an outpatient or in-Home setting. Additional requirements include the ability to accept feedback, manage time effectively, adhere to ethical codes and hipaa, and meet physical demands such as assuming various postures and utilizing restraint/Transport techniques when necessary.
