Core responsibilities

The counselor will promote and protect the health, safety, and emotional well-Being of children and families through support, education, and by providing mentoring and life/Social skill building in home and community settings. Essential duties include collaborating with stakeholders, providing psychosocial rehabilitation living skills training, offering respite, conducting in-Home counseling, and assisting in crisis stabilization and transitional moves.

Requirements summary

A high school diploma/Ged and bht level certification as stipulated by azdhs/Bhs are required, along with experience working with children with behavioral needs and parents on parenting skills. Candidates must be 21 or older, possess a valid az driver's license with a clean record, have reliable transportation, and be comfortable transporting youth.
