Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher will develop individualized lesson plans based on iep goals, maintain a conducive learning environment, and train classroom assistants for one-To-One instruction. This role also involves helping students aged 3-21 develop essential work skills and transition toward independent living through community engagement.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in special education or early childhood education, along with a new jersey teacher of the handicapped or teacher of students with disabilities certification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience with children and the ability to read, write, and understand english are mandatory.
