Recreation Specialist

The specialist is responsible for organizing and supervising both on-Center and off-Center recreation activities for students, while also being expected to generate new, fresh, and stimulating ideas for various events and initiatives. Duties include preparing schedules, coordinating field trips, maintaining facilities and equipment, tracking attendance, ordering supplies, and providing student transportation.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or g.e.d. Along with one year of experience working with youth, and must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record. Obtaining a cdl class b driver's license with passenger endorsement is required within three months of hire, and water safety certification is preferred.
