Academic Instructor Substitute (ON-CALL)

The instructor is responsible for providing academic instruction following the approved curriculum, developing lesson plans, administering tests, and modifying instructional resources to meet diverse student needs. Duties also include motivating and counseling students, coordinating with staff to resolve issues, recording attendance, and modeling appropriate behaviors to foster academic excellence.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and active new york state teacher certification, although waivers may be available for those with other state credentials or those applying for nys certification. Applicants are also required to have a valid new york state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
