Group exercise instructor

The group exercise instructor leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes to accomplish the ymca mission, while also building community and supporting participants in achieving their health and well-Being goals. Responsibilities include modifying classes for varied needs, maintaining wellness knowledge, building member relationships, and adhering to all ymca policies and procedures.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be a minimum of 18 years old, holding a group exercise certification from a nationally recognized provider and current cpr/First aid/Aed certification. At least one year of experience teaching group exercise classes is preferred, along with completion of the ymca healthy living online certification within 60 days of hire.
