Requirements summary
Candidates must meet criteria for diabetes educator practice level 3, requiring over 5 years of direct engagement or care in diabetes as a nurse or dietitian, and hold a bachelor's degree in nutrition or nursing. Licensure as a registered nurse in georgia or multi-State compact, or registered dietitian license, along with cbdce credentialing (Cdces or bc-Adm) and bls certification, are mandatory.
