School-Based Counselor

The chemical dependency prevention counselor provides school-Based crisis intervention, prevention counseling (Individual, family, and group), and case management services to youth, including conducting comprehensive assessments. They are responsible for developing individual service plans that coordinate direct services with school staff and referrals to community agencies.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree along with one year of counseling experience, or an equivalent qualification; a master's degree is preferred. Advanced training in chemical dependency prevention, such as cpp/Icsp/Casac, is preferred.
