Core responsibilities
The career coach will manage a caseload, providing work readiness counseling, mentoring, and assessing participant needs to create individualized employment plans. Responsibilities also include tracking progress, maintaining accurate participant files, and facilitating access to necessary training and employment services to promote self-Sufficiency.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an associate’s degree or 12 months of related work experience, along with excellent verbal and written communication and demonstrated customer service skills. Familiarity with local community needs and resources is important, and one to three years of experience in workforce development is preferred.
