Behavioral Aide II (1:1)

The behavioral aide supports educational plans by assisting teachers and implementing individual education plans (Iep) and behavior intervention plans (Bip), while also providing direct instructional support tailored to individual student needs. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies using crisis intervention methods, supervising students during various activities, and demonstrating applied behavior analysis (Aba) methodologies.

A high school diploma or ged is required for this level, along with prior experience working with students needing behavioral or learning assistance in a school or treatment setting. Candidates must also pass doj/Fbi live scan background checks and obtain tb clearance, and be at least 18 years old.
