Chess Instructor | Spring

Instructors will lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom environment, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to all school safety protocols while traveling to various local sites.

Candidates must have experience working with groups of children and be comfortable leading classes independently with an upbeat and engaging demeanor, possessing a strong grasp of chess fundamentals. A requirement includes reliable personal transportation and availability on weekday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to teach 1 to 5 classes weekly.
