Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The certified occupational therapy assistant will be responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist, conducting screenings, and monitoring patient progress through documentation. They will also prepare therapy materials and assist with administrative tasks like scheduling and billing.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree along with assistant licensure, appropriate certifications, and must pass state and federal background checks. Required skills include the ability to manage workload, travel to client homes, build rapport, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
