Instructional Aide

The instructional aide will provide personalized support, supervision, and guidance to k-12 students in special education settings, collaborating with educators to implement individualized education programs (Ieps). Responsibilities include implementing individualized instruction, monitoring student progress, managing behavior, and assisting students in developing essential life and academic skills.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with passage of a basic skills test, and the ability to obtain a state driver's license and crisis management certification. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher, and prior experience supporting children, especially those with learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
