Core responsibilities
The behavioral health technician is responsible for delivering one-To-One services to identified children/Adolescents and their families to reduce maladaptive behaviors across home, school, and community settings. This includes implementing clinical goals, reporting to supervisors, and participating in required supervision and meetings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree, along with one year of full-Time experience supporting youth or young adults in mental health services. Required certifications include bcat, and candidates must pass pennsylvania child abuse, criminal, and fingerprint-Based federal history clearances.
