Toddler Assistant Teacher

The role involves assisting lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored for children of all abilities, while also providing individualized support for children with special needs. Responsibilities include fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, communicating child development updates to families, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom.

Candidates must have obtained some post-Secondary credits in early childhood education or a related field and must maintain cpr and first aid certifications provided by fraser. Applicants also need the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and a commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion through culturally responsive practice.
