Preschool Lead Teacher

The preschool teacher is responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth for children aged 2–5, adhering to montessori philosophy and state regulations. Key duties include ensuring classroom safety compliance, observing and documenting child development, and maintaining professional communication with families.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must complete specific maryland state department of education (Msde) approved certifications, including the 90-Hour preschool teacher certification and 9-Hour communication course. Current first aid/Cpr and a maryland state background check are mandatory, with early childhood or montessori experience preferred.
