The successful candidate will teach graduate courses within the master of arts in counseling education degree and contribute to developing counseling curricula to meet cacrep standards. Responsibilities also include advising and mentoring graduate students, engaging in program development, and supporting program administration tasks like recruitment and assessment.

A ph.d. In counselor education from a cacrep-Accredited program is required, along with independent licensure as a licensed professional counselor (Lpc) in virginia or eligibility for licensure by endorsement. Candidates must possess knowledge of cacrep standards and experience in areas such as clinical mental health, school counseling, or rehabilitation counseling.
