Substitute teacher assistant

The substitute teacher assistant supports the teacher and master teacher in the general supervision, development, and education of children in the assigned classroom, fostering a climate of respect for each child's individuality and needs. Key duties include interacting positively with children, assisting in problem-Solving and social-Emotional development, and maintaining records like drdp and portfolios.

Successful candidates must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills, the ability to adjust focus based on changing priorities, and must be able to assist in developing age-Appropriate curriculum. Required qualifications include passing a fingerprint/Criminal record clearance, holding current pediatric cpr and first aid certificates, a recent health screening including a tuberculosis test, and a current california driver’s license.
