Chess Instructor | Winter

Instructors will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students, utilizing a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom positively, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to school safety protocols while traveling to various local sites.

Candidates must have required experience working with groups of children, be comfortable leading classes independently, and possess a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts clearly to young students. Applicants also need reliable personal transportation and availability on weekday afternoons to teach 1 to 5 classes weekly.
