Direct Support Professional (Residential Assistant)

Residential assistants are expected to provide positive support, caring assistance, and responsible supervision to youth aged 14-21 in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. Duties include participating in the therapeutic treatment team, understanding resident goals, carrying out interventions, and documenting observations.

Applicants must possess a bachelor's level degree in a related social service field such as psychology, sociology, or education, with psychology being preferred. Alternatively, three or more years of experience working with youth in a behavioral group setting is acceptable with a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license is mandatory.
