Head Start Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher will assist classroom staff by maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff, while supporting lesson implementation and promoting positive child interactions and development. This role involves assisting with daily routines and necessary caregiving tasks for the children in the head start program.

The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma, with the expectation of completing a child development associate (Cda) credential within two years of hire. Preferred qualifications include a cda or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, along with two years of direct experience working with at-Risk populations or in head start programs.
