Core responsibilities
The specialist provides direct, individualized, home and community-Based early intervention services to infants and toddlers (Birth to 3) with or at risk for developmental delays, partnering with families to ensure services align with their priorities and evidence-Based practices. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary assessments, developing ifsp goals, providing intervention across developmental domains, acting as a service coordinator, and supporting families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as early childhood education, child development, or special education, along with a minimum of 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children. Preferred qualifications include experience with infants, toddlers, and families, knowledge of family systems, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation.
