Gretna Crossing Childwatch Attendant

The childwatch attendant organizes, plans, and executes activities for participating children while cultivating positive relationships and maintaining effective communication with parents, children, and staff. This role requires adherence to program standards, safety protocols, and ymca policies regarding emergencies and child abuse prevention.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and capable of working with children aged 6 weeks to 8 years, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Required qualifications include completing program-Specific training before the first shift, and within 30 days, completing ymca culture, child abuse prevention, and cpr/First aid training, alongside passing a background check.
