Chess Instructor | Spring

Instructors will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. Responsibilities also include managing the classroom positively, encouraging critical thinking, and traveling to various local school sites for each session.

Candidates must have required experience working with groups of children, comfort leading classes independently, and a strong grasp of chess fundamentals to explain concepts clearly to young students. Applicants also need reliable personal transportation and availability on weekday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to teach 1–5 classes weekly.
