Child Development Teacher

The child development teacher is responsible for planning and executing learning activities for children aged 3-5 in the college's laboratory school, while also overseeing and contributing to the practical teaching experience of early childhood education students. Key duties include teaching, supervising student teachers, communicating with parents regarding their children's progress, and participating in the overall administration of the child development center.

A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, along with two or more years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must also possess required certifications including first aid, cpr, medication administration, and mandated reporter training, and be approved to work in a childcare setting.
