Nursing Professional Development Specialist

The nurse senior – educator will advance nursing excellence through evidence-Based education and professional development, primarily focusing on the level ii emergency department to strengthen clinical readiness and trauma response competency. Key duties include developing and evaluating education programs, leading simulation training, supporting trauma care initiatives, and serving as a clinical resource for emergency nurses.

Candidates must possess a current and valid connecticut rn license and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in emergency room nursing, with level i or level ii trauma experience being highly preferred. A master of science in nursing (Msn) is strongly preferred, though bsn candidates actively pursuing an msn will be considered.
